Megan Nadin is singer-songwriter born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Growing up surrounded by music, Megan began writing her own songs at a very early age. However, as she grew older she prioritized getting her education – continuing to use the art of writing and singing to express herself on a more personal level.
While in pursuit of her teaching degree, Megan took a trip to Cambodia to volunteer teaching English with the organization New Hope For Orphans, where she was reminded that sharing her music with the world was something she always wanted to do, and a dream she was ready to chase.
Through hard work, in the last year Megan has had the opportunity to record in places such as Toronto, New York and Nashville. She is currently preparing to release her debut EP, which is set to drop this spring. The EP will include her song ‘Gypsy Sea’ – a song that landed her in Canada’s top 100 Finalists for CBC Music’s nationwide contest, ‘CBC Searchlight 2018’. For this up and coming rootsy pop-artist, this is just this beginning.
‘Gypsy Sea’ is by far one the best new songs I have come across for awhile and it is no wonder it got voted to the top 100 on ‘CBC Searchlight 2018’ and I see many great things will open up for Megan. I understand she will be dropping her new EP soon and I am looking forward to the release. – Randy Lockhart
