Candystore is an eclectic and diverse group of rock musicians from Minneapolis, MN, USA. Each member is an established song writer and multi-instrumentalist in their own right. The end result is genre-bending rock that fuses and contrasts musical styles, reaching beyond base influences to incorporate various modalities and instrumentation.

Described as Everclear meets the Pixies with a dash of Foo Fighters thrown in, Candystore is not afraid to draw upon influences from across the decades to create a fresh and modern sound. Candystore is: Kent Weis (Lead Vocals), Matt Platt ( Lead/Rythm Guitar, Piano, Keys/Synth), Londo Masterman (Bass Guitar, Backing Vocals), Shannon Souza (Drums, Percussion) and Joseph Souza (Engineering/Mixing, Backing Vocals).
Minneapolis, MN: Candystore’s second single release ‘Face’ was on February 5, 2021.
This is the second single in support of upcoming album ‘Feels Like It Should’, their second full-length album.
Their first single, ‘Touched’, was well-received, with placement on 8 separate Spotify Playlists. The ‘Live’ video for ‘Touched’ was met with great excitement from familiar fans and new converts alike. The February 5 release of ‘Face’ will also be accompanied by a full length video.
In a world where at times rock music seems like it has faded into the background, Candystore is here to keep it in the forefront of everyone’s mind! Though unable to tour in the current environment, Candystore is heavily promoting their new release via social media, traditional/internet radio, paid promotions and all streaming platforms.
